This admissions horror story hides a big opportunity.

"Did you hear about the student who lost their scholarship because of a social media post?"

This is a common "horror story" I hear from parents all the time.

While it serves as a warning to future applicants, it also hides an opportunity to stand out.

Everyone has a digital footprint, especially kids. This means admissions officers can do a quick Google search and find it.

Some students are aware of this, so they run damage control and remove anything they consider negative from their social media profiles and other websites.

What they don’t know is…

Their online presence is actually an opportunity to stand out.

Aside from removing what they don’t want admission officers to see, they should also showcase everything that helps their application.

I’m talking about:

  • A personal portfolio of writings, art, accomplishments, etc.

  • Curated social media profiles and posts.

  • Research or news articles.

The key is that it matches their Student Brand and the story they are telling in their application.

Think about it…

The sooner they start planning their brand, the easier it is to gather proof and show it online.

That's why in Lesson 1 of the “Student Brand Masterclass,” we dig into this and show students exactly how to start building a brand that will increase their chances of admission.

The best way to get the Masterclass is through the College Admission Academy.

I’ll go over the key points and answer all your questions live on the next group coaching call.

If you want your child to create a brand that stands out to admissions officers, join the academy today.

Our next coaching call is happening this Sunday (September 1st)
