Starting 9th grade is a big step in a child's path.

It’s the beginning of their high school journey and when most families should start their college prep for a few reasons:

Their grades matter as they will show up in their application.
Their extracurricular activities will define their achievements in the next few years.
They become more independent and have more responsibilities.

Now, some families go easy on 9th grade to let kids get used to the high school environment.

You see, ninth-grade students don’t have a full four years to prep.

There’s actually only 3 years and 2 months.

And they’ll spend those 2 months of senior year wrapping up their college applications.

This means that if they don’t prepare accordingly...

It becomes the most stressful part of the application cycle.

But if they really use those 3 years well, starting in 9th grade...
