Yesterday, we had an incredible session with our College Admissions Academy students!

It was amazing to see how much they are growing and the energy they bring to each call.

Our 8th, 9th, and 10th graders learned how to develop their Student Brands, using their favorite artists as examples:

• Hilary Hahn, known for her technical mastery and fresh take on classical pieces.

• Gracie Abrams, captivating listeners with her intimate, honest songwriting.

• Jacob Collier, mixing different styles to create something new every time.

These artists are growing their careers and building loyal followings.

Our academy students learned they can do the same by building their Student Brand around their uniqueness.

It finally clicked how their passions, experiences, and perspectives will help them get into their dream colleges.

Meanwhile, our juniors dove into the Common Application.

We went through the process one step at a time.

One student, Alexandra, realized that a personal story she wrote earlier would be perfect for her college essay.

As reserved as she is, you could see her eyes light up with excitement.

The Academy is about so much more than filling out forms. We're teaching students to show the world who they are.

We're helping them understand themselves in ways that will help them even after they finish college.

What’s even better…

With each session, I see their confidence grow.

They're more willing to speak up, to share their stories and dreams.

They’re starting to realize their strengths and embrace what makes them special.

Watching these students discover who they are and what they're capable of is the most rewarding part of what I do.

The Academy is now open to students in 8th, 9th, 10th, or 11th grade.
