As of August 1st, the Common Application is now open…

This means it's GO time for the 24-25 Admissions Cycle!

If your child is in their senior year, here are some key dates to circle on your calendar:

You must also keep in mind that putting together a winning application takes time.

The earlier your senior starts working on their application, the better their chances of submitting a polished and compelling package.

So what can they do right now to get ahead of the game?

Create a Common App account and familiarize themselves with the platform.
Put the finishing touches on their personal essay before school gets hectic.
Finalize their college list and decide if Early Action or Early Decision is the right move.

And please, don’t let your teen try to pull everything together at the last minute.

Stress tends to take over and mistakes become common. I see it every year.

I know this can be a stressful time for your family.

However, it's also an exciting and pivotal moment in your child's life!
