11th grade summer mistake
If your child is applying to college this fall, then my advice is
For most students, the end of the school year is just that...
The end.
It’s summer break! Time to kick the feet back and relax until August rolls around again.
Big mistake!
Children need to make the most of their summers.
Now, I’m not suggesting you glue your child to a desk while every other child is playing in the sun and enjoying time with friends.
But really, late spring and summer are when children can make progress on the goals that truly matter to THEM.
Which goals?
Well, that depends on your child’s stage…
Younger students can use this time to make friends and expand their horizons at interesting summer camps.
Older students can put a few extra hours into personal projects that will lead to a breakthrough achievement.
And rising seniors (11th grade)?
Well, they should be making progress on their college application.
If your child is applying to college this fall, then my advice is to get those application materials ready before school starts.
And if you want to ensure their application is worthy of admission, then you should consider my Application Review service.
The goal is to catch and fix any mistake that can put your child’s application at risk of rejection.
This way, you and your child can feel fully confident in the application they will submit.
Speaking of which, the deadline to get an Application Review at the May price is coming up quickly.
We have 7 spots available but you must sign up before June 1st at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.
Afterward, the price will rise to $1597.
